Description
William Lawson’s 13 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky
Alcohol Percentage (ABV): 40% (80 Proof)
Origin: Scotland (Blended Scotch) Flavor Profile: Sweet, Full-Bodied, Toffee, Dried Fruit, and Light Spice Taste Background: This is a blended Scotch whisky that uses Macduff/Glen Deveron single malt as its core. After blending, it is aged for a total of 13 years and finished in heavily charred Bourbon barrels. This imparts a bold, smooth character that is highly malt-forward and unpeated in style. The palate offers rich, sweet notes of caramel, creamy toffee, and vanilla, balanced by a core of juicy, ripe fruit (such as baked apple and dried dates/figs). The charred casks add a subtle wood spice and a hint of smokiness or tobacco to the long, warming finish.
