Key Details: Calazan Special Blanco is an exceptional white rum because it is actually a blend of 12-13 rums aged for no less than 2 years in a mix of ex-bourbon barrels, ex-rum barrels, beer barrels, and new white American Oak barrels. After aging, the rum is carefully charcoal filtered clear to remove the color, retaining the complex flavors gained from the wood. This process makes it a smooth, flavorful base for high-end cocktails or for sipping neat. It proudly comes from Venezuela.
